Question regarding Nosferatu and their bane
Hello everyone!
I’m designing my first character in VTM (a spy nosferatu) loosely based off the invisible man. Instead of being invisible he would have chemical burns on his body that horribly disfigure him and is why he wraps himself up. As a fun bonus he has Cloak of Shadows and Unseen Passage to lean more on the base idea.
With that being said, I worry that by wrapping himself up would incur a -2 penalty to social stats, which I feel would become tedious and make it annoying to play if a key characterization hinders gameplay. He is very upfront about his “chemical burns” even despite them being covered and the only two people he would want to keep them from seeing is his younger daughter and his love interest, which I’m a ok with the penalty there if he’s actively trying to hide the extent of his condition.
How would you as a DM approach a situation like this? Since I haven’t played a session yet some of the mechanics I’m unsure of and want to make sure this can be a viable character in game while also respecting RAW.
