TV License… why is it ‘Licence’ now?
Anywho… Lived in London 2012-2019, had a license, paid it for a few years 2012-2017, then declared I don’t need one anymore. Moved outside of London, advised them of my new address and that I still don’t need one. Kept getting letters to remind me to let them know if I don’t need one, so I kept letting them know. Then the reminders kept coming in even after I had told them 6 months in that I still don’t need one, so I stopped engaging. The letters went from being addressed to me and giving my TV License number to being addressed to The Occupier. Huh? Por que? Dafuq?
Anyway… I tried to go online and declare again that I don’t need one and my details are not recognised for this address. 🤷♀️ Apparently I also no longer have an online account. 🤷♀️ I got the above letter hand delivered today. Such an honour 🤣
Poor uncle, he looked so bored, didn’t even try to look in the window, probably saw the big CCTV camera in it, nothing round the back of the house either, no peek over the fence, there’s another CCTV camera there anyway. So… my question is, y’all got any experience with this type of letter? I’m not worried, no one’s coming inside my house, I don’t have any open curtains, I am somewhat of a ‘What We Do In The Shadows’ type of person, I like my privacy at all times. 😁 Thankyaaaa
