I'm roughly planning this itinerary which goes from Flores -> Sulawesi -> Borneo.

I am wondering if this is possible without flying? I found a ferry going from Sulawesi to Borneo on Rome2Rio, but I'm not sure how much I can trust that.

Does anyone have experience with these ferry crossings? Or a similar route?

PS, from Kuching I am ok with flying if needed to get back to the main land.
