Netflix Charging 13% HST instead of 5% GST
Hey everyone, I live in Alberta. Netflix has been charging me 13% HST from over 1 year and I never noticed it. My billing, shipping address is of Alberta. I talked with them; they refunded this month's money and told me to resubscribe. When I subscribed again, I was charged the correct tax amount (5%) this time.
They did not help me with previous billing cycles.
What Can I do now to get refund of the extra 8% tax that I have been paying for more than a year?
