Hell Difficulty Tutorial: is the payoff worth the pain?
I started listening to the audio book of Hell Difficulty Tutorial because someone had it listed above other books I've really enjoyed and I saw another post indicating that it gets "good" after book 1. Frankly, the protagonist sounds like a psychopath, but not one where you are actually interested in his point of view. Is this just the growing pains of the first book or is it all like this? I mean I can find a psychopath interesting, but the personality is so uneven if just feels like terrible writing.
Thoughts on if I should suck it up and listen to the next 10 hours?
