Photo update from az mvd
Hi, I have a question in regards to something that has happened to a loved one.
My family member received a letter in the mail from mvd stating they needed to update the picture on their id. It states failure to do so will result in the cancellation of the id. They received the id from the state when they first got here and they always had it with them.
They did not have legal entry and are currently in the process of obtaining status but they don’t have any protections as of yet. No work permit, nothing. Anyways, I guess my question is has anyone else had this letter mailed to them? Do you think they should contact their lawyer? Would this put them at MORE at risk driving on the road if we do nothing. We are thinking of going to a 3rd party mvd soon to ask but is that also a dumb thing to do? I appreciate you in advance
