Drainage?

I’m sorry for posting here so much but I don’t have anyone to ask :(

I am 10 days out from a flat DMX.
All my drains are out & my wound vac is turned off.

My husband and I noticed this little drainage spot as I was getting dressed today.

Is it normal or am I doing to much? It’s not hurting or anything.

Thank you

Help 🙃

Okay! I am 7 days post op of a double mastectomy with flat closure!

My doctor put a wound vac on me- smiths & nephew pico machine.

It’s been working fine till today but I’m also confused. If I sit in my recliner the machine goes off constantly, does not stop vibrating. But if I stand up it stops.

The machine isn’t showing any errors at all- just the green light

It feels like I’ve lost a little suction.
Both times it’s done it, a little dot has showed up on my wound vac

My doctors office is closed and when I called the er… they said google it?
Has anyone went through this

Surgery yesterday

I had my double mastectomy yesterday with flat closure. I guess I didn’t expect it to be so hard.

I’m a bigger girl so not being able to push or pull myself up is really bothering me.

I don’t know what I’m going to do when my husband goes back to work.

Surgery scheduled

Surgery is August 6th. Double mastectomy flat closure.

I feel like I need to get more stuff than I have.. but maybe I’m just scaring myself.

What did everyone get that they actually used?
I have a mastectomy pillow
Button up clothes.

Spray deodorant (I’m guessing I can’t use roll on).

What else? Even sanitary wise?

BRCA2

I really really just need to vent.

Diagnosed with BRCA 3 months ago & have decided to do a double mastectomy (due to already having two other cancers previously and it’s just my choice)… I’m only 29 so i have never had imaging done on my breast.. of course the doctor wants some before we schedule surgery.. thats okay.

Ive went to 4 places (drove 4 hours- 2 hours there and two hours back)… to get turned away.

I’m a big girl… I get that. It’s my fault. Whatever.
But how does NOBODY in Tennessee have a machine for big people?? I’ve been naked on the table 2 TIMES (including today) and turned away.

I’m not the only fat and big boob girl in Tennessee 😭

Now my surgery will probably be pushed further.
Sometimes I think the health care system, just wants you sick.

I wear around a size 4x & I’m having a double mastectomy soon.. where can I get stuff easy to wear after surgery for cheap? 😭

I’ve looked at goodwill & am failing 👎🏼

prophylactic dmx

First I love that there’s groups like this so I don’t feel so alone.

I am 29 years old. I’ve had kidney cancer, appendix cancer & now tested positive for the BRCA2 gene.

I have decided to go ahead and do the double mastectomy but I’m also still so scared. I’m a bigger girl with an even bigger chest.

We are looking at the end of July.

My doctor talked about doing a Goldilocks closure on me. (Just basically giving me a little breast mound with my own skin). She said I can’t keep my nipples due to blood flow or something (Which is fine).

Is there any tips or tricks I should know?
I’ve been trying to look for little things to buy and stuff.
