I want more/longer coverage throughout the day. There's an extended release version of gabapentin, but i don't really know how it works.

So has anyone tried it? If so is it better than the immediate release one, say if you want it to last all day?

My plan is to take some days or time off to lower my tolerance then go for the 300 mg Extended Release one to last me all day. Worried if it would be weaker so that's why I'm asking.

I'm starting a new job after being unemployed for a while. My shift will be from 11 am to 7 pm or so. If I take 900 mg staggered 300 mg every 30 mins say starting at 9 am, how long will this last me throughout the day?

I'm hoping it lasts at least the 8 hour shift, if more that would be awesome so I can chill after work.

Let me know your experience/insight and help me develop a schedule and routine my good folks 🙏🏼
