21F and my family is moving away in a few months. I have no savings and don’t know what to do
I honestly don’t even know where to start but I’m kind of freaking out right now. I’m 21F and I currently live with my family in OC, but they’re planning on moving to Texas in the next 3–5 months and I can’t go with them.
The issue is I have basically nothing saved. For the past few years I’ve been helping with rent and bills while also trying to do school, so I never really had the chance to save money for myself. Right now I literally have like $100 to my name, one part-time job, and no car.
I know I’m screwed financially right now, trust me, I already know lol. I just genuinely don’t know where to start or what my best options are at this point. I’m trying not to panic but it’s hard not to.
If anyone has been in a similar situation or has advice on ways to make emergency money, better jobs, housing ideas, literally anything, I’d really appreciate it. I’m trying to make some kind of plan before everything happens.
Ps. I can’t move with them because the environment at home is very controlling and not safe or healthy for me.
