Thanks again to the folks over on Groups.io, there is news about the TM-D750A from Dayton:

Kenwood displayed a working radio this year. They are saying September for Production Shipping.

Quoting KH6JUZ:

Kenwood was no longer able to source chips in the FCC certified version and had to redesign and then go through the whole FCC certification process again and that is causing the delay."

Interesting to see JVC/Kenwood running into the same issues as other manufacturers like Elecraft have encountered. Getting it all the way to Type Acceptance/Certification and then not be able to source parts.

Hopefully, this is the year! (It is eternal optimism day here at the home QTH...)
