What’s the city been up-to?
I returned to the city where I’ve lived a major chunk of my life after a year and guess what, I see no difference at all except a few new building being erected. I have been here for three days and I am already sick, the dust, pollution, chaos and what not has caused me this. I took the link road while coming to the city, there’s a politician’s house by that road, almost a huge mansion (bro’s got to be a brilliant-minded person to have made that kinda money without corruption, of course) and there are three street lamps on that entire road and guess where they are? Right in front of that dude’s house. It is honestly so sad, the infrastructure has gone down so bad, the electricity bills have suddenly doubled, there’s no regular water supply, robbery and crimes in general have skyrocketed. This used to be a beautiful city until a decade ago, post then everything sort of went south. It’s almost as if the city has lost its soul.
Earlier, the politicians, the government servants at least took public opinions into account, now they’ve gone past this and almost certainly don’t care about the public at all. They’ve moved past the fact that they’re appointed and not anointed. How are you guys coping up with this bs?
