Where can I store a bag in Mumbai?
Hi all,
I’m travelling through India and Southeast Asia and trying to figure out the best way to store one suitcase/bag in Mumbai for around 2 months.
My rough itinerary is:
Mumbai → Udaipur (shopping) → back to Mumbai → Malaysia/Cambodia/Singapore → Kochi → back to Mumbai for ~1 week → home.
The issue is that I’ll likely do some shopping in Udaipur (clothes, textiles, lehengas, etc.) and really do not want to drag an extra suitcase all over Southeast Asia.
So ideally I’m looking for somewhere in Mumbai where I can safely store one bag/suitcase for around 2 months, then come back and collect it when I return for my final week in Mumbai before flying home.
Happy to pay, of course. Looking for something:
• Safe/reliable
• Not insanely expensive
• Preferably used by travellers/expats
• Airport, South Mumbai or Bandra area would be ideal, but open to suggestions
Has anyone done this or know of luggage storage companies, hotels, hostels, lockers, or trusted services for longer-term storage?
