Steam Deck Charger

Steam Deck Charger

A while ago I got a Steam Deck on Ebay with some battery problems, when I got my hands on it, I did a battery recalibration and it went back to 100% health from 6%. I thought that would be the end of it, but not even a month later (and I haven't really been on it outside of watching the battery for this sort of thing because I bought it as a gift for a friend, [it's probably been ~3 charges]) and it's at 90%.

I think the problem is the charger, as I read a few places that said if you use a charger that isn't the original, it could mess with the way the deck reads what charge it's at and upon investigation, the charger that came with it isn't the original (as is pictured). Ifixit has official chargers, but a 35 dollar charger seems a little pricey to me (I don't really know much about technology though). Is it possible to get a charger that operates at thed same voltage and other electricity terms I've forgotten since high school? Would that solve my problem or just put me in the same spot I'm in now?

I recently got a used LCD off Ebay and it needs a battery replacement, I've been looking around and a lot of the batteries I'm finding for the LCD model are thicker than the original. Reviews say that it fits barely and has to be squeezed in, would that pose any problems in the future?
