Is anybody having it difficult with Special Grass this GvG?

Urbain, even at 4/5 is severely lacking in gvg due to his circle dependancy and inability to maintain grass terrain unless 10/5. am I just bad at the game or is this happening to other people?

Not mentioning his lack of scr (at 4/5 he reduces it by two ONCE) and his time to attack being too slow (attacking once every 10 seconds). He's the meta for special grass but he's like a 6/10

Regarding the Hero Selection Chest

Which one should I Choose? I have all of them but Tristan and DK Zeldris. My Femeli is 3/6 and so is my Banessa, and my Escalin is 2/6. or should I go for the gems instead?

DeNA Recently announced an overhaul to Battle Points. Here's an idea and incentive to care about this new overhaul: 7 EX Sync Pairs (hear me out!)

Powercreep approaches faster and harder each month, so I thought of (another stolen) idea for old sync pairs; a way to upgrade them even further with current-level poké fairs.

Most (if not all) spotlights are worthless and just Legendary Gauntlet fodder. This new method of upgrading them will change the following stuff:

- New Recolor
- Passives
- Sync Grid
- Stats (Same increase from 5stars to 6EX)

so, without further ado, here's what I would change with what my wanted 7 ex feature could act like from the next sync pair: Dawn & Torterra

Dawn & Torterra have two passives: Power Siphon 9: Lowers the attack of the target that attacked the user by 1 stage and raises the attack of the user by the same amount and Vigilance. This new 7EX feature would fusion these two passives and add two new, current poké fair level passives: First Trainer Move Defense Up 6 First Trainer Move Taunt: The first time the user's trainer use a Trainer Move, it will grant the first time it's used the following effects: Raises the user's Defense by 6. Makes the opposing team target the user for a little while.
Strength for Everyone: Raises the ally team's Physical Moves Up Next rank by one after the user is attacked. Grants the user Gradual Healing after the first time it's attacked in a battle. Extends the duration of Gradual Healing the first time Gradual Healing is applied to the user. Makes the opposing team target the user for a little while.

7EX will grant an expanded sync grid with extra 30 energy to spend on (not counting the purchaseable extra energy) in order to better take advantage of the stronger grid.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is what the concept behind upgrading a pair to 7EX would look like. It's not making older sync pairs "stronger" (though it is, to a certain level), but rather adding a new niche or two for these old pairs.

Obviously, this concept alone wouldn't help DeNA make money, so I've thought of an idea for them: Everytime they release a new 7EX old sync pair upgradeable, a bundle featuring all the resources for this upgrade could be released on the shop.

Since people in this subreddit don't really like the word Grind, I've thought about using 5Star boosters for this, and since it's an upgrade for end-game players, I think 200 boosters + aids + codexes should suffice for this feature.

What do you think? Could this be improved? I'd be glad to hear your opinions. Thanks for reading.

Pokémon Masters EX has been pretty much the same since the early days. So, here are my ideas to make it better (and worth your time.)

Currently, the game has been going through a dire time. Low playerbase, low free gem income, and even people who are paying are leaving. So I've taken ideas from another game, Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross.

Idea 1: Total Box CC (Team Strength)

CC Counter in Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross (Japan)

This would incentivize everyone into upgrading their sync pairs they don't use, or old sync pairs that have little use nowadays due to power creep. By granting percentage-based buffs every certain milestone (say, 100k Total Team Strength will grant 0.5% more hp for your team at the start of a battle), it will make people who pay even more willing to spend more, and for free to play players, to upgrade powercrept pairs.

Idea 1.1: Constellations

Constellation System in Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross

Going hand-by-hand with Idea 1, pulling new pairs, increasing pairs' rank, unlocking ex roles, increasing their max level, super awakening, expanding sync grid energy, and many other things, will grant you Constellation Points that you would be using for Constellations, a upgradeable System where you spend said points on permanent percentage based buffs like "Electric Sync Pairs will now have a 5% extra physical attack" or "Support Sync Pairs will raise your team's evasion by 1 every 5 attacks".

Idea 2: Relics

Escanor's (Old Unit) Holy Relic

Pretty much every old unit is unusable on new content. It could be because their attack stats are crap, or their defense can't keep up with new damage, or lack WTZ effects. This system will grant relics towards old units, that serve as a boost for these units. For example, crafting a relic for Flannery & Torkoal would grant the next effect: "If the team has 3 fire-type sync pairs, the user will join the battle with the Sun Weather effect for the first time the user enters a battle" that will grant extra use to these older units.

Idea 2.1: Backline Pairs & Link Pairs

Backline and Link Heroes in Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross

Grand Cross features a system where you can apply any unit to a hero. Said Hero could have special Link effects, like healing 30% of the damage dealt, or increasing damage and crit damage by 20%. If the unit doesn't have a special Link effect, it would grant a basic percentage based buff based off the unit's ultimate move level. In Masters' case, it would work perfectly, in my opinion at least.

Backline Pairs is a new addition to all content, where you can place a fourth pair on the backline (the pair won't join the battle until at least one frontline pair fainted). This comes in handy with Relics; certain relics will only work as backlines, or others as links. This would add so much more complexity and a massive teambuilding shift.

Idea 2.2: PvE Grinding (Demonic Beast Battles and Death Matches)

Demonic Beast in Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross

With the addition of Gyms and Gym Battles recently, DeNA could add a new PvE Grinding mode: Gigantamax Battles (or Totem Battles if they want to save Gigantamax for other modes) with scaling difficulty, starting from Easy/Normal up to Master. The higher the difficulty, the harder it would be to Solo the mode, which is where Co-op comes into place. By inviting a friend or two, you could grind these crafting resources for Relics with coordination and Co-op teambuilding (or invite an AI to replace real people if you don't want to coordinate).

Adding these modes could also grant new resources to increase a pair's Max Level too- Up to level 250 is my wish.

Final Idea: Infinite Grinding

Fort Solgres, the Infinite Grinding Place in Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross

Currently, Pokémon Masters EX is boring. You log-in, clear your dailies and close the game. While it's fine for casuals, it's not for the people that are invested in this game. Where is the grinding? What do I do after I've cleared the latest permanent content? This idea could make things easier. Re-haul the training area with new training zones where you can increase the difficulty manually, and with doing so, you get better rewards. It encourages people to upgrade their units for better rewards.

If you're reading this, I'm thankful for reading it. I'll gladly answer any criticism towards my stolen ideas, and I want to hear your ideas too! Would this make the game too convoluted?

I have many other (stolen) ideas to share with you. Let me know everything!

Best sync pair for this month's Legendary Gauntlet Select Scout?

I'm new to the game (been playing for a month) and I want to spend money on this. Which unit would be the best? I was thinking about Carmine & Sinistcha, I think she'd be a great addition to my grass team, only consisting of Palentines Marley and Sygna Suit Lyra...
