I built a tool that lets Claude search Northeastern's Scholar OneSearch catalog for you to help with literature reviews and research.

Basically, it lets Claude search OneSearch directly. You can ask something like "find me peer-reviewed articles on urban heat islands from the last five years" and it pulls real results straight from OneSearch, including titles, authors, availability and full-text links when they exist.

What it does right now:

• Search the catalog in plain English
• Filter by date, peer-reviewed only, or format
• Narrow to a specific campus (Boston, Oakland, online, or all)
• Pull full details on any result — abstract, table of contents, availability, full-text link

It's free and open source. Do note that setup does takes a few command-line steps, so you'll want to be a little comfortable with that, but I tried to write the instructions in a way that it is easy to follow even if you're not a CS major. You can check it out here.
