The wind completely changed this place

Stokksnes is famous for its calm reflections and mirror-like water beneath the mountains.

But the day I arrived, the wind was so strong that the landscape felt completely different — darker, wilder, and almost cinematic.

No reflections that day, but honestly… I kind of loved it this way too.

Beautiful spot in Alberta, Canada — but the wind was absolutely brutal that day.

I thought this tarp setup would handle it just fine, but the gusts kept hitting from the side and turning everything into a sail 😂

I eventually got it stable, but it definitely made me rethink my setup for exposed campsites like this.

How do you guys deal with strong crosswinds when there’s almost no natural cover around?

70 seconds of Icelandic aurora

Spent the night filming the northern lights in Iceland and put together a short 70-second clip from that experience.
The movement and colors looked even more surreal in real life.

Woke up to this incredible sunrise during a cold morning in Iceland.
The sky changed colors every minute.

The small town beneath Kirkjufell

A calm evening over Grundarfjörður, the small fishing town beside Kirkjufell in west Iceland.
The silence here felt unreal.
