Have you fired a client? If so what happened?
Interested to hear if it’s common or a client really has to do something outrageous to be fired?

Someone in my life is getting divorced from her husband. He fired his first lawyer and just got fired by his second (he’s a real peach /s). This was 5 days before a divorce judicial settlement conference in which they already scheduled a trial for. He now choosing to represent himself (has ZERO law experience and became a US citizen within the past decade after coming here 20 years ago so not familiar with US law)
My question- what typically happens when someone represent themselves? Is this a good or bad thing for the loved one in my life? Have you seen this before in your practice?
