College Credits - Higher Rank?
My son is enlisting in the air force and has already been through MEPS and swore into DEP. He has 25 college credits and his recruiter is saying that his contract won't have E-2 on it and he won't actually put on E-2 until 20 weeks after BMT graduation. Is this accurate? I'm finding conflicting answers online and nothing that specifically states this policy on any air force sites/documents. Should E-2 be on his contract? When should E-2 pay begin and when would he put on E-2?
