Jumping back to maintenance
Hi,
At 5’2, and being 19F, I’ve just completed a three month long 500 calorie deficit from my maintenance. I’ll be going back into cutting again in June to get more weight off.
I was about 155-157 lbs, now my lowest on the scale is 139lbs after just waking up. I train enough to consider myself moderately active, and jumped right back to maintaining at about 2000 calories per day due to mental exhaustion.
I’ve experienced water retention and bloating and I just want to make sure i’m not doing anything wrong and accidentally gaining the weight back. Do you think this was the wrong strategy or should I just wait it out and things will be cool? TDEE calculators give me anything from 1900-2100 and so I just chose in the middle.
