For the longest time this song had me sure that Ye had another prime in him

For the longest time this song had me sure that Ye had another prime in him

Everything about it was perfect except the runtime.

The flow, the delivery, the lyrics all reeked of a hungry Ye. The hook and the beat are fucking fantastic too. Hot take but I think it was a smart move to remove Ty's bridge thingy cause it kind of leads to nowhere without a second verse to follow.

To be fair there have been certain songs which have been better in 1 or 2 ways but none where he just put it all together like this.

At what point do you think kanye had originally decided to scrap vultures 2 and what specifically might have triggered it

If this were sold by Balenciaga it would be called "the teeth slipper" or some bullshit, retailing for $500 and would be the most demanded slide anywhere (still is i guess)

The idea to me is footwear designs that are experimental while remaining unassuming

It feels like Ye is sort of turning back the dial on experimental footwear - the AQ-01s kind of confirm this for me

In the current fashion paradigm, there is no shortage of novel, out there shoes that look really striking in pictures... but just not like actual footwear? Almost like you're channelling a cartoon character

Now I'm not trying to hate or paint all 'over-experimental' footwear with the same brush of performativity

But in a world that demands you to stand out purely for the sake of it, this simpler approach feels like a fresh take - simple enough to work with more plain or detailed outfits

Its not something that everyone has to like, but something that anyone can actually wear, just sprinkling on that bit of dopeness
