I’m flying from India to Dublin on a UK BIVS visa and will need to clear immigration at Heathrow before re-entering the terminal for my onward flight to Dublin.

My flight lands at Heathrow Terminal 5 at 9:15 AM on a Friday, and I have a 3.5-hour layover before the next flight to Dublin (also from Terminal 5).

For those who’ve done this recently:

• How long has immigration at Heathrow been taking?
• Is 3.5 hours generally enough time to clear immigration, exit, and re-enter security?

My assumption is that my checked baggage will be tagged through to Dublin, so I won’t need to collect it in London.

Would appreciate any recent experiences or tips!
