Why is the city so bad at construction planning?
I’m all for fixing the roads, but yet ANOTHER road closure in my neighborhood has made it so we’re completely boxed by road closures: there’s only a single road out of our area. We can ONLY go north; there are no east, west, or south egresses. It’s impossible to walk here now between the construction vehicles throwing rocks everywhere and the cars almost hitting you at crossings since they’re sending 5-6 lanes of traffic through a single lane road.
Like, yes, fix the roads, but maybe spread it out a little or stagger which roads are worked on? Is it that hard to look at a map and realize that you’re locking people in?
I can barely leave my house. It’s ridiculous. Does Andy Schor’s ex live in this neighborhood or something?
