Keyhole surgery scars healing raised/bumpy after 5 months
Hi everyone. I had my gallbladder removed via keyhole surgery about 5 and a half months ago. Since the incisions were tiny, I honestly didn’t expect much scarring and didn’t pay enough attention to them at first, although I did use a few creams here and there.
The problem is that my scars seem to be healing in a weird way , instead of flattening over time, they’ve become raised and bumpy outward. At the moment I’m not really in a position to afford laser treatment or cosmetic procedures, so I was wondering if there’s still any product that could realistically help improve them at this stage. I also heard about keloid but I’m not sure if this looks like that.
If anyone has experienced something similar or found something that helped with raised scars after surgery, I’d really appreciate hearing about it.
