These are HEAFTY - new d19 rings
Compared to the stock d19 rings, you can seriously feel the difference just in holding them ... Front weight bias here I come...

I get stuck balanced right on the skid a lot. It's my main hang up... What's the best way to improve this? All i could think was:
-More weight in the front?
-Longer shocks for more tire contact?
Trying to keep the small 34mm tires for a scale look...
Mini Adamas, copper clip and stud, dlc blade (by rek)
Made a simple formula that I think works?
-
(OD of the tire in mm × 30) ÷ 25.4 = full scale size of the tire
-
For example (34x30)÷25.4= 40.15748

So I'm approximately running 40s on my land cruiser 🤣
Had some lock issues with these two and sent them in. Benchmade fixed them up and sent them back working like new in about a month
Anyone else experienced this? My only drivetrain modification is a nano unity torque. I'll likely start pulling things apart soon but wanted to check in if anyone knew where to start....
Edit: new post with different layout illustrated - https://www.reddit.com/r/civilengineering/s/oX64cg3zOI
does anyone have an example of this in use? talking about a large municipal lift pump that is being updated outside of my home... there was discussion of burying the control panel, and that has no longer on the table. It seems like a good move in its current placement, the current control panel gets hammered from weather and rusts out often, needing panel replacement and upkeep (often has duct tape on it.....)
I feel like the remote feels okay except for the cheap steering wheel, so I took it apart - Going to print a more interesting one that fits the foam from my SLT2
im pretty excited about this, its not as ground breaking as i though yet (had neo30 previously) but i still need to tweak it to where i want it to be - also i cant imagine how you guys fit the zorg max in there, there's barely enough space for this setup!
Kind of disappointed that this change is happening before I was able to get one... I'm a fan of cruwear and liked the idea of it in an edc otf. I guess it doesn't make a huge difference for the use of this knife? But also wouldn't call it an "upgrade"...
Do new u-joints/axels add a lot of steering angle without binding? Trying to get as much steering angle as possible. Im considering those and some brass knuckles as my next upgrade...
Jammed some of the HR wheel weights into my d19 injora wheels. This made a huge difference, wish it didn't look so odd but it helps get weight out front and made way bigger difference than I expected. Only an extra 4g per wheel
Is the wheel speed similar to the stock 88t? I can't find a video or anything with a direct comparison... Pic is just for interest
Gonna try and fit lights to this one eventually
Probably will just go with injora unless people have other recommendations
PLEASE GIVE US A 3rd GEN TACO SCX30.... I will be test printing this one I built but we need some nice molded Toyota parts, please!

Feel free to take these images to your next product development meeting... Seriously...
Found the old cardboard "course" that came with my Losi 1/24 crawler a looong time ago. Kind of small rock garden for the 30 but looks awesome at low angles 😆
Same line at a couple angles... This has a neo30 motor and d19/Maverix 34mm... The heavier wheels make me want to go brushless

This guy has the Tacoma body we all want and deserve, has anyone else seen this out there for purchase?

Actually, I'm thinking it must be diecast to weigh that much 😑
