I hit the Splitwise paywall and couldn't find a good free alternative — so I built one
Like a lot of people here, I used Splitwise for years. Then the daily expense limit kicked in during a group trip and I couldn't add expenses fast enough. Looked around for alternatives — Tricount and Splid are decent but not built for India (no UPI). Everything else was either worse or also paywalled.
So I spent a few months building FairShare — a free bill-splitting app with no transaction limits, no ads, and no paywalls. Core features:
