Let's say an asteroid hits our planet and every species goes extinct. What happens to the path?
Does the cycle of birth and death still exist? Maybe if another planet hosts life it'll continue to take place? What is considered life in the first place? What are the conditions that need to arise in order to be subject to Samsara?
Sorry if there's a lot of questions, I'm new to Buddhism.
