Hello all. I’ve been reading through many threads and it appears that the service works great when in China, bypassing the need for VPNs. This is great to hear!

However, I have a further question for those who have used Popcorn in China. When using local Chinese apps or websites, did you experience any issues? For example: scanning a menu QR code on WeChat/Alipay to order at a restaurant, calling an taxi (like Didi), using delivery apps, etc.? Also, are there any additional fees when calling local Chinese phone numbers?

I go to China often and am considering using Popcorn, but I want to make sure it works like a charm for both local Chinese and international platforms.
