Grounds for independent students

I've been shopping around for ground schools and syllabi to use in my independent instruction to be as structured/organized as possible. It seems like there are so many so I wanted to ask if anyone has a really good standout syllabus for Part 61 instruction?

Besides that, I've been thinking about being a student and I feel like it would be difficult to just do an online ground school to get ready for any check ride. I feel like teaching/learning in person is much better but it would be more expensive for the student. What structure have you guys seen work best?

Questions on Independent CFI

Hey guys, I am a CFI-I planning on going the independent route since hiring is really slow with the schools and already have some potential students myself. (I am renting the aircraft and already have insurance.) I have a few questions for those that have done this and have experience:

  1. Is creating a name/logo like "TW Aviation" and advertising under it ok? (I do plan on making an LLC to separate my personal life from business.)
  2. While instructing, can I wear a polo/shirt with that logo on it?
  3. What has been more effective for students when it comes to grounds? Zoom, online course, in person?

I want to provide my students with the best experience possible throughout their flight training and want to make sure I am doing everything right. If it helps, I am training in Arizona. Thank you in advance for the help!
