Shower Drain is developing lots of embedded mold around drain seal. Whats needed to prevent a leak from developing?

My Shower drain appears to be developing mold around the seal. house is about 12 years old

Can i cut away / clean the mold and re apply an external bead of silicone? or do i need to replace the drain seal?

I do not have access to the underside of my shower, so not sure how easily it would be to replace the shower drain seal

Any Dealer recommendations to purchase GM Protection Plan Extended Service Contract ("Warranty") in canada who offer better rates then others?

Hi

I have a 2 year old GM vehicle in its 3 year bumper to bumper warranty term and looking at getting a 7year extended "warranty" (Service contract) through GM protection plan

Does anyone have a GM/Chevrolet/Buick dealer they can recommend who offer good rates on these manufacturer backed plans?

in the usa there seem to be GMPP volume seller dealers who are 50% less than others. wondering if there is something similar in canada
