Mixed thoughts
I have some Sporadic thoughts I've been thinking about that I want to layout here real quick and get some feedback. These are Sporadic and not a full theory yet so...
I think the monsters are Eloise' nightmares (from the old maid theory, it's just to spot on for the dress) and I think she died shortly after leaving behind her mom. Bringing her nightmare to fruition. In a larger theory, I think the original children were special somehow. Like their thoughts/feelings brought things into existence. This is why they are kept in the dark, to control what they create. I believe og jade told them a story of "hope" a concept they were not familiar with. And when sacrificed, this hope was turned into the faraway trees. I think the far away trees take you to where you sub consciously want to go, which is why the BiW isn't sure where they'll take you (because your subconscious cannot be controlled like your active conscious) I think once the cycle is fully complete, the FROM grows and reintroduces new architecture (which is why we have partial buildings... a lot of thoughts I'm just trying to put together into one big theory...
