‘OT7 Engenes’ lack emotional and intellectual maturity that’s why we’re still in this predicament even after 2 months
An example.
I spent 7 years of my life at an all-girls school where I made friends with 8 girls with whom I spent every day of my school life with. We took the school bus together, we were all in the same form group, we ate together at lunch, we were in the same sets for lessons and we even attended the same youth club after school. We basically grew up together and knew each other like the back of our hands, our likes, dislikes, our dreams and goals for the future. At the time, I fully believed that they would be my friends for life because they were all I knew.
Anyways, we all ended up going to completely different universities. We stopped seeking out each other and we didn’t actively try to meet up even when we were back home from uni. There was no big fight or ‘falling out’ that happened but eventually we just stopped being friends and that’s completely NORMAL. We were just at different points in our lives and our priorities no longer aligned so there was no point salvaging the friendship. There’s no feelings of ‘hatred’ for the loss of friendship, not even a longing for what could have been because we are now completely different people.
I think this is the same case with the current Enhypen members and Heeseung. They spent their youth together and I’m certain at one point they were truly all reaching for the same goal but people and feelings change and this is inevitable. Heeseung realised new dreams which no longer aligned with the six members’ shared dream so they gradually grew apart. It is not a fault to want to remove yourself from a situation if it no longer serves you.
Heeseung made his choice and the six Enhypen members made theirs too. Whether they are still friends or not should not be up for this discussion. It would be great if they are still friends after all this but it’s also fine if they’re not, that’s their choice that they’ve made based on things only they themselves know. What’s NOT okay is OT7 Engenes forcing Heeseung back into the group and harassing the six other members whenever they make a comment that doesn’t fit the narrative they have created of their relationship in their heads.
There is nothing wrong with the members addressing Enhypen as it stands today with SIX members. It is not an ‘agenda’ it is our current reality. Not everything needs a reaction nor is there a need to overanalyse their every word or action. The members are some of the most logical people I know. Please give them some credit and the respect they deserve.
