Hi all, was thinking of starting a side project before uni starts LOL. Recently saw some Reddit post around end of 2025 / start of 2026 about project being delayed cause clients sometimes submit their require documents late(ex logos, about us, their services).

I’ve been reading a lot of discussions here and there seem to be two camps.
One group refuses to start until they have all the copy, images and access.
The other starts with placeholders and swaps everything in later.
Which approach do you follow?
Has one worked significantly better for you?
I’m especially curious how agencies handle clients who slowly drip-feed content over several weeks.

Hi all, I’m an incoming freshman studying CS. Right now I’m on holiday before school starts and was thinking of building some side projects. I was reading through some sub reddits and saw that web dev / freelancers getting their clients to send everything seems to be a recurring headache.

I assume for a typical project you would need things like

Logo
Brand assets
Homepage copy
About Us
Service descriptions
Images
Domain / hosting access
Analytics or DNS access
Client approvals

I’m wondering what everyone’s workflow looks like nowadays. Do you just use Google Drive + email?
Content Snare?
ClickUp?
Notion?
Google Forms?
Or do you simply build with placeholder content and wait?
Also, what’s the biggest bottleneck during onboarding before development actually starts?

Hi people, I’m enrolling into CS this August and I’m wondering how you guys process hard/dense PDFs, lecture notes, or textbook chapters.

Do you read everything line by line, make your own notes, use ChatGPT/NotebookLM, make Anki cards, or just go straight to practice questions?

I feel like a lot of AI study apps are just “upload PDF → summary → quiz → flashcards”, which is useful but also feels a bit passive LOL.

For dense content, I don’t always want the whole thing summarised. I think I struggle more with figuring out which parts are actually important, which parts I don’t understand, and whether I can explain the concept myself.

Are there any tools/workflows that help with that? Or do most people just use AI summaries/flashcards and call it a day?

Hi, I recently saw an influx of study tools being made by students. Just wanted to check if anyone has actually used any of these tools, and in what way have these tools helped you in your studies, especially those that parse your PDFs into summaries?

Im about to start my university in August, and I was doing like a quick refresher, and wow, FML. I have no idea where to start, LOL.
