Hi, i’m new to Linux and everything about it. I’ve installed EndeavourOS to try Arch Linux, and so far it is interesting, but at the same time exhausting.

I must have separate Steam for big picture (gamescope) so my overlay and hotkeys would be able to work properly. But one thing is really confusing me.

Why exactly there are games that require anti-cheats and don’t work on Linux because of that? I really said “bye” to 3-4 games that I often play, just because “it is not working on Linux, so I guess I have to play something else”.

Could somebody clearly explain it to me (keep in mind that I’m not really a tech guy).
