Sorry more Traeger questions.
Is that stupid grate that covers the hopper really necessary? I'm seriously considering removing it.

Currently without a propane grill but I have this Traeger that I was gifted. Ive very familiar with smoking and wood flavors but is there a blend of pellets that is good for regular grilling without overpowering Steaks, burgers or hot dogs?
Not sure if this is the right forum for this question. I recently got a used Traeger for my Birthday but the entire interior is covered in green fuzzy mold. I try not to use chemicals in my smokers but I'm not sure what else to do with this one. Are there any mold cleaners that are safe to use? Am I good to just hit it with a grill brush and use the fire?
