Hand written notes from Real estate agents? Legit or marketing ploy?
Over the past 3 months, we have received multiple hand written letters, personally delivered to our mail box which all read something like:
"We have a buyer interested in your home, please call us"
One letter included a brief story about how some family wanted the house because it was walking distance to their parents and they wanted to raise kids nearby.
I note, they have not been all from the same agent.
No-one has knocked on our door or attempted to speak with us.
I'm amused, curious but also slightly irritated with the junk mail. I have no plans on selling but if someone knocked on my door with a too good to be true offer Id prob say yes.
So my question is , is this a genuine buyer interested or are the real estate agents using this as a tactic to drum up business?
