Hello! I recently received an email from Benilde confirming that I passed my first choice, which is BA Film. Now, I’m waiting for my scholarship results, and they mentioned that I’m considered a late applicant because I took the BEE last April. My question is: are there any SMMWS applicants here, or any type of scholarship recipients who were late applicants but still received the scholarship? I’m worried because Benilde is my last choice, and the scholarship results will be released on May 30, so some schools might not be accepting anymore. I also see people who got waitlisted, which makes me anxious.

Good day! I just received an email today confirming that I passed the BEE and that I’m eligible to apply for BA Film. I’m now waiting for my scholarship results. As far as I know, the SMMWS scholarship requires us to submit a portfolio. I’m wondering what kind of portfolio this is, since I don’t really have any film works aside from the basic performance task films I did during my SHS years. What I do know is that I love analyzing films and I’m very much into cinematography—I just don’t know how that will help in building my portfolio.

Hi! I just passed my required documents yesterday for the SMMWS Scholarship. I was just wondering If do I have a chance to get a slot? I already did my application for BBE last January but for some reason they announced my exam so late that I had to choose for April 18, which is so far that I’m considered now as a late applicant. Do I still have a chance, knowing that there’s a limited slot for it. I’m kinda nervous because it might be my last chance and I need that scholarship so I can continue my studies.
