I am 24 and want to join the military in a combat role, and you need to have good uncorrected vision for that. My only option is laser eye surgery. So many optometrists and users in this subreddit say laser eye surgery is dangerous, and there is a lot of fraud and corruption in the research for it. Your vision can still get worse, and you can no longer wear contacts. So what do I do?
