Spent the last three years away and recently moved back to Jalpaiguri. I forgot this town goes into sleep mode the moment the sun starts setting.
I’ve exhausted the usual routine of cafés and endlessly scrolling my phone. Most of my old friends are busy, have moved away, or are doing their own thing, so I’m basically back at square one socially.
At this point, making new friends in Jalpaiguri feels like trying to find a hidden side quest. Where do people in their twenties even hang out and meet new people here?
No hate toward the town. It’s peaceful and green. It’s just… aggressively uneventful.
Anyone else moved back here after living elsewhere and had this problem?
