Just got a first screen interviewed with the HR. When she asked will you now or in the future require sponsorship? I said yes, and told her I'm in 1 yr OPT now, and will have 2 yr STEM OPT. From what I know, Accenture does sponsor H1B right?

Just because I said yes, "unfornately, we can't move forward with your application now"

From how the HR explain the policy, sounds like they only accept people with at least a green card for any entry level role at this point.

I'm so upset. I know it's a big company, so I don't plan to lie on that "I don't need sponsorship" and want to make it clear. But got such a rejection how upset it is
