Advice for calling balls/strikes when player overly crowds the plate
In little league baseball majors, I have had a bunch of players overly crowd the plate (both feet in the box), so much so that I have warned a few batters that I will call a strike if they get hit in the hands. As I set up in the slot, I am having a difficult time seeing the pitched ball because their body is so leaned over the plate that it blocks my view. Any advice?
