I built a free HEIC batch converter for Windows — tired of converting iPhone photos one by one
Hey everyone,
I'm a indie developer and I built this because I kept running into the same frustration: transferring photos from iPhone to Windows and getting stuck with HEIC files that nothing could open properly.
Most online converters make you upload one file at a time, and the desktop tools I found were either paid, bloated, or just ugly. So I built my own.
What it does:
- Batch convert hundreds of HEIC files at once (JPG, PNG, GIF, BMP)
- Adjust JPG output quality with a real-time slider
- Choose what happens to original files after conversion (keep, delete, or move)
- Auto-resolve file naming conflicts
- Clean progress tracking so you know exactly what succeeded or failed
It's free on the Microsoft Store. Would love any feedback — especially if something doesn't work as expected on your setup.
