Background:
I’m currently doing my Family med training in London UK. Plan is to come back to Canada (Ontario home province) to practice.

Question:
I know the traditional route for the FM+1 posts are straight out of FM residency, however there is a pathway for FMs who are practicing to enter as well.

I was curious if any IMG FMs in Canada have any experience with this they can share? Also open to EM or Anesthesia, just trying to get a handle for how difficult/competitive it is and if it’s even possible as an IMG who’s begun practicing in Canada.
