Hi there! Has anyone taken any consultant jobs from abroad?

I have been working as a consultant psychiatrist in the UK for a couple of years now - mostly remote adult & camhs ADHD & ASD assessments, but also some in-person appointments as well.

I am planning on leaving the country over the next few months in order to move back home (EU country), but would like to keep working remotely if possible. I would keep the GMC registration, medical indemnity, etc, but I would loose the right to work in the UK as I don’t have the settlement (I would, however, be working from another country and paying taxes there, so I am unsure on whether that would be a problem).

Does anyone have experience in similar situations? What were the main issues you faced?
