So, I am currently on my period and also got a nosebleed for an uncorrelated reason. However, said nosebleed is far heavier than any other nosebleed I had before. Is there a correlation/connection between heavier/longer nosebleeds and your period and if so what are they?

I already tried to google however I was unsuccesful in finding any relevant information. I am mostly curious about this, does anyone know anything?
