How good are the Dt270 pros?
According to reviews, these have bass for sure. I'm looking for a pair of cans to replace my M40Xs. I prefer a mild V or U shaped (or Neutral with bass boost perhaps?) with a relatively bright but smooth treble. Definitely not a basshead for sure, I don't mind neutral but I prefer to have bass in mind.
I have a $10 GK Kunten IEMs (before revision, bought them in January this year.) and I've been using them for a few months. They sound great, much better than my M40Xs too. Aside from the harsh upper mids peaks which does make it a little uncomfortable sometimes.
The dt270 pros are pretty much in the max range of what I can afford. Should I get them as a replacement for my M40Xs or should I just stick to IEMs? How are they for gaming? How's the instrument separation/imaging and soundstage wise?
