followed some advice and got quelaags furysword. it's sick. but I'm so fucking stressed playing with 10 humanity. the run back to sif I was sweating my balls off steal thing past the ghost guys who can 3 tap me
now on to tomb of the giants. I got no idea how to deal with the dogs but here goes nothing.
Hi all. I just finished my first playthrough and loved it, but mistakenly killed the final boss before making it to the DLC. My first character ended up being a simple 40/40/40 vit/end/str bonker with the demon machete. Dealing a lot of poise damage and killing everything in 1 or 2 hits felt great.
However, now I am attempting a dex character (just killed O+S) and have been using the Uchi (+10) because I read good things about it, but it honestly feels terrible meeting so many enemies with either high slash resistance or immunity to bleeding. Do all dex weapons have this problem, or is there a reasonable dex weapon swap for these types of enemies? Furthermore, is there any reason not to just go for a quality build over a pure dex one? I was thinking about trying to go attune/dex for a hybrid pyromancy style, but I'm not sure if I will regret it too much and rather not start this type of character over again.
