Willie C’s Is Having A Revival This Weekend!!!

As someone that was a huge fan of Willie C’s back in the day, I had to post to see if people knew about this. Saw a sign out on Venue 3130 that they’re hosting a revival buffet from Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd with all of the old menu.

Apparently Blue Moon Caterers is running it as their owner is the former owner of Willie C. Tickets are $29 for adults, $15 for ages 4-15 and kids under 3 are free. Hours are 5pm-8pm Friday and Saturday and 11am-3pm Sunday according to their Facebook page. Is anyone else planning on attending this?

Gardening Professionals, how did you start your career?

For the past 2 years I have been working as a marketing manager in corporate America and it’s safe to say I am completely done with it. I don’t find the work stimulating, I don’t particularly enjoy the job and being confined to a windowless office is draining the life out of me.

I’m returning to the UK for good in 2 months and have been looking at jobs online. For some reason, the idea of gardening seems to really appeal to me. I like the idea of being outside (even in bad weather), the manual labour and just the whole vibe around it, but the experience I have is minimal. I’m 26, so I feel that I’m young enough that I could start a career path and forge my way over time, but I have no idea what gardening employers look for or even if they’d give me the time of day. Ideally, I’d like to work for a company rather than be self-employed.

Any tips, advice or experience would be much appreciated as I’m dead serious on giving this a go. Thanks
