Paper Pure pen accuracy problem?

Hey guys, has anyone else experienced this with the Pure? About 20% of the time when the pen nib touches the screen, the ink appears offset up and to the right of where the nib is actually touching.

It doesn’t happen all the time, but often enough to be distracting while writing. I’ve tried restarting the device, changing the nib. Nothing helped. I even tried demagnetizing the screen with a watch demagnetizer but it didn't help.

I absolutely love the Pure otherwise, but this makes it impossible to use without getting distracted. I’m really hoping I just got a defective unit and that this isn’t normal behavior. Has anyone else experienced this? I’d really appreciate hearing whether this is expected or if I should ask for a replacement.

Todoist, now that you’re shipping features nonstop…

...Please let us filter the upcoming view by project.

Right now, every project gets thrown into one giant list. Weekly planning is a pain! The only color coding is for priority, but priorities are usually relative within a project. A P1 task in Project A isn’t necessarily more important than a P2 task in Project B, so the priority colors lose almost all their meaning when everything is mixed together.

A simple project filter in Upcoming would make weekly planning so much better! Better yet: give us the option to color code upcoming view by project!

Love the Pure!

My Pure arrived today and I gotta say I’m impressed. Let me preface by saying I’ve owned a RM2 and a RMPP (I had the Move for a week and returned it because it was too small for my needs).

I’ve watched a ton of reviews in anticipation of the Pure, and surprisingly enough, the things that I found to be the best improvements were not mentioned by anyone:

  • The writing feel is much better than the RMPP. There’s more friction, and you can’t hear the ticking sound of the tip hitting the device. It’s like a mix of the RM2 and RMPP. I guess they don’t advertise this so as not to scare people away from the more expensive device.
  • It’s so fast and snappy! Way faster than the RMPP.
  • The contrast! I can’t explain how much better-looking the screen is compared to the grayish tint I’ve been used to with my RMPP.
  • The eraser! God, ever since reMarkable implemented the visible erasing mark, I hated it because it smudged the screen every time I used it. This is gone in the Pure.
  • The grid lines are more visible than on the RMPP.
  • It’s way lighter and the screen is the perfect size (the thing I missed most from the RM2).
  • It doesn’t feel “expensive” and fragile like the RMPP. It feels like a… paper notebook.

From a longtime Remarkable user who has tried all their devices with the exception of the RM1, this is their best device yet IMHO.

Post-scroll refresh?

A few days ago, I was pleasantly surprised to see that scrolling no longer left ghosting behind. It looked like the device was doing a full page refresh after scrolling, which was actually one of the features I’d been hoping reMarkable would implement.

But after the latest update, it seems to be gone. I’m back to heavy yellow ghosting after scrolling through documents. Has anyone else noticed this?
