How to Install Apps without computer on iPhoneOS 3.2
I found out that while using the proxy to make the app store work on iPhoneOS 3.2, you can install apps from iPhoneOSObscura without needing a computer. The proxy overrides (in my experience) the Cannot Open Page error in a lot of websites. Although you can´t use the iOS direct install, you can use the Direct Download option. Despite this, it doesnt really install to somewhere you can located in the files easily. Here is how you can install apps:
1- Get the proxy working using this tutorial: https://www.reddit.com/r/LegacyJailbreak/comments/1p9sdxl/ios_5_app_store_fix_finally/
2- Go on Cydia and get Safari Download Plug-In from BigBoss, and Install0us from Electimon´s repo http://yzu.moe/dev. Also get iFile if you don´t have it.
3- Then try installing whatever app you want from iPhoneOSObscura, and use the Direct Download Option.
If everything goes well it should popup a screen from the Safari Download Plug-in, with a Download button. It´s going to save the IPA file onto /var/mobile/Library/Downloads folder.
(If it gives a connection error or something, try using a lighter app)
4- After this we are going to be using Install0us as an IPA Installer alternative for iPhoneOS 3.2, but to do that we have to move the IPA file saved onto the location previously used, into var/mobile/Downloads, so it can detect it. If you don´t have the folder, create it.
In /var/mobile/Library/Downloads:
Click edit, then click to select the IPA file, and on the bottom right corner click the Share button (lets assume), and cut.
Then go to var/mobile/Downloads:
Click on the Share button and then paste.
5- Open Install0us and you´ll see the IPA file you downloaded. Click on top of it and Install.
If everything was done correctly, you should find the app on the Home Screen. After from step 3, the same for every app you´d want.
RECOMMENDATION - Use this on reasonably sized apps like Angry Birds. Use your normal computer method to download games such as Real Racing.
