Hybrid lab component?

Hi everyone,

I’m taking prerequisites right now and the only chem class that works with my schedule is offered as a hybrid model.. the lecture is online, but the lab meets both in person and online as well.

I was wondering if this would count towards nursing school or should I drop the class..?

Full time job options?

I can’t afford not to work through school and understand the only thing available to me is probably overnight shifts.. the issue is I currently work 9-6 mon-fri and 10-2 saturdays so I can’t even do a weekends-only cna program to qualify for these types of jobs.

Any ideas ..? Currently work as a pharm tech but I can’t find too many evening or overnight openings near me

Should I quit full time job to do a cna program with employment assistance?

I am looking to start prerequisites for nursing school but my current job is 9-6 in pharmacy and I can’t quit to look for flexible part time jobs because I need the money.

My plan was to start a program like jvs healthworks that has job placement help and “guarantees” employment but the thing is in this economy.. is it really still guaranteed?

I am terrified to quit and not have anything lined up after completing the program, but realistically I need the noctural shifts and experience for nursing school.

What should I do? Are there any programs that are actually guranteeing employment after successful completion? I am in Los Angeles, SFV area

Thanks
